Unfors RaySafe has introduced a new cloud-based solution to lower patients' X-ray radiation exposure to a minimum.
With the ability to capture patient dose during radiology procedures, the RaySafe S1 Dose Management enables practitioners to better control and reduce the number of unnecessary exams, improve process quality as well as monitor patient safety.
Reduction of radiation exposure will enable medical personnel to work efficiently, thus increasing overall productivity resulting in considerable cost-savings, claims the company.
Unfors RaySafe CEO Magnus Kristoferson said three important factors should be considered for controlling radiation including quality assurance for X-ray equipment, minimization of radiation exposure of medical staff and dose management in order to protect patients.
"We are now the only company able to provide clinics and hospitals with effective solutions in all of these key areas," Kristoferson added.
