KeHE Distributors has signed an agreement to acquire Nature's Best, a distributor of health and natural food products in California.
KeHE stated that the acquisition will help the company to expand its national distribution capabilities, natural and organic expertise, as well as to enhance distribution solution across all food retail channels.
KeHE Distributors president and CEO Brandon Barnholt said the new combination positions KeHE to fulfil vision of being the preferred supply chain partner in the natural, specialty, and fresh products marketplace in North America.
"Nature's Best two LEED Gold Certified warehouses, state-of-the-art warehouse management system, and highly respected Cadia product line will be significant and immediate enhancements to our value proposition," Barnholt added.
According to KeHE, the completion of acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions.
KeHE provides natural and organic, specialty and gourmet, international and multicultural and fresh products to natural food stores, chain grocery stores, independent grocery stores and other specialty product retailers throughout North America.
