Acura, the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Honda Motor, has launched the Chinese version of the Acura RLX sedan at the ongoing Auto Shanghai 2013 being held in China.
The sedan is powered by the 3.5L direct-injection SOHC i-VTEC V6 engine that is expected to deliver an output of 310hp.
Features of the vehicle include the precision all-wheel steer that is claimed to achieve turning performance and vehicle stability.
All wheel steer system in the vehicle will automatically adjust to the relative rear wheel angles by using electrically controlled actuators.
The automaker has also unveiled the Acura Concept SUV-X, sports utility vehicle (SUV) for the Chinese market.
Mass-production of model based on the concept vehicle is being planned by the company to start local production and sales in China of in about next three years.
The company has also displayed its NSX Concept, the next-generation super sports model that was unveiled at the 2013 North American International Auto Show held in the US in January 2013.
