Navman Wireless has launched a temperature monitoring and tracking system.
The new application provides real-time remote temperature data for refrigerated compartments found in vans, trucks and trailers, giving fleet managers complete visibility of the storage conditions to ensure temperature-controlled loads are delivered efficiently, on time and in good condition.
“We estimate there are about 60,000 temperature controlled vehicles/trailers
across Australasia, accounting for 10-15 per cent of all commercial vehicles in the region,” said Ian Daniel, vice president APAC at Navman Wireless.
“Our new system will help fleet businesses in this particular market to not only ensure merchandise is kept and delivered at the correct temperature, but also to reduce customers’ rejection of loads, which can be very costly for businesses.”
