The building products manufacturer MeisterWerke has suspended production of "Wood Fibre Floor" (WFF) flooring and panels for the time being after having launched it as recently as the third quarter 2011. The company says the decision is due to "unforeseeable changes in material-specific components." The ensuing production problems are to be overcome by fundamental changes in the manufacturing process and therefore by means of further investment in machinery. Delivery of the products marketed by MeisterWerke under the name of "Nadura" since the beginning of 2012 will consequently be delayed by several months. Customers have been notified that the orders received so far must be cancelled at short notice. The company is currently working from the assumption that production will be resumed in the fourth quarter 2012.
