US automotive giant Ford has revamped 2016 F-150 Limited pickup truck with luxury, connectivity and fuel efficiency by supplying it aluminum wheels, SYNC 3 and 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine.
With the wheels of the 'Limited' model sporting 22-inch polished aluminum wheels, the powertrain is capable of generating 365 horsepower and 420 lbft of torque with a fuel rating, estimated by EPA, of 17mpg in city, 24mpg in highway and 20mpg in both.
Shadow Black, Magnetic, Blue Jeans and White Platinum Metallic tri-coat are some of the colors available for the vehicle.
Ford group global product development - vice-president Raj Nair said: "The F-150 Limited sets a new bar for what discerning customers should expect in a high-end truck.
"We're adding segment-exclusive technology, and features that improve productivity, convenience and capability with distinctive style."
Besides, the engine is coupled with electronic six-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul and sport modes with SelectShift features. The vehicle can also automatically shift from two-wheel to four-wheel drive in keeping with surface traction conditions.
The vehicle is capable of towing up to 10,100 pounds when properly equipped.
While the truck has a lane-keeping system, 360-degree camera system and dynamic trailer hitch assist, it is armed with Ford's communications and entertainment system SYNC 3 with specifications of voice recognition, capacitive touch screen and graphical interface.
A Sony 10-speaker sound system with HD Radio, subwoofer and single CD player is another notable feature of the vehicle.
