Fresh produce firm Produce World Group is planning to shut down its plants in Butterwick and Swinderby, in the UK.
The move forms a part of the company's strategy to restructure the business in order to face market challenges.
The processing and packing operations of conventionally grown root vegetables from Swinderby will be moved to the company's Isleham site, where additional processing and storage facilities are being built.
Produce World's Butterwick and Swinderby sites currently employ around 250 and 90 people respectively.
As part of restructuring, the company plans to form a joint venture (JV) with Lincolnshire Field Products at Wykeham.
The proposed JV will be responsible for growing, harvesting, packing and marketing brassicas. It is expected to create 60 new jobs.
With the new JV, the company is expected to generate around £250m in overall annual sales volumes.
Produce World Group executive chairman Neil Fraser said: "At Produce World we are growing our business and developing a structure which will enable us to meet the current and future challenges in the industry.
"We are operating in a low margin business and more consolidation across the industry is inevitable. At the same time our customers are experiencing a period of unprecedented competition and changing consumer shopping habits."
