February 1, Volvo Company of North America announced that American sales (including sales of Puerto Rico) hit the record high in January of 2013 since 2008.
In January of 2013, Volvo American sales were 4,875 vehicles, up 9.3% year on year compared to 4,461 vehicles in January of 2012. From the different models, Volvo S60 sales were the highest and reached 1,954 vehicles, increased 38.1% year on year compared to 1,415 vehicles in January last year. Followed by XC60, its sales were from 1,059 vehicles to 1,566 vehicles, with a rise of 47.9%. XC60 was the model which grew the most year on year in January.
