Husky Names New Vice-President Global Supply Chain and Operations

Husky Injection Molding Systems, the largest brand name supplier of injection molding equipment and services, announced that Greg Temple has joined Husky’s team in the role of Vice President Global Supply Chain and Operations.

Greg is a senior operations executive with extensive experience in the industrial, chemical, and consumer products sectors. His leadership in managing the supply chain and operations of multibillion, global organizations has led to significant improvements in customer satisfaction, organizational performance, and efficiency.

“Our business is maturing in a very dynamic environment and how we organize our operations and supply chain functions to respond to market demands is vital to our long-term growth” said John Galt, President and CEO. “Greg’s experience and success at integrating operations and business strategy and implementing lean transformations on a global scale is a great addition to our leadership team.”

As a member of Husky’s leadership team, Greg will look to optimize Husky’s manufacturing footprint, capabilities, and capacities, as well as leverage their collective scale for global procurement.

In his most recent role, Greg was Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Kennametal, a multibillion tooling and engineering components manufacturer in Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to this he held a number of global leadership positions including Corporate Vice President of Global Operations for Avery Dennison where he provided functional oversight for 75 plants and 160 warehouses across 25 countries.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA, specializing in Finance and Technology from the University of California.
