Brazil-based car parts manufacturer Torcomp is planning to start construction of a new parts manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, US by the end of 2014.
The new factory will be located in the Cumberland Valley Business Park, near Chambersburg and expected to offer employment for 73 people over the next three years.
According to reports, the facility is expected to cover an area of 16,400ft2 and would take six months to be built.
Torcomp is planning to invest over $9m at the new facility, which is expected to be completed in the fall of 2014.
Additionally, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett has announced that the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority will offer a 15-year low-interest loan of $640,000 to the county development agency on behalf of Torcomp.
