Xylem will unveil the enhanced Flygt 2600 drainage pump series at the Bauma International Trade Fair, 15th-21st April in Munich.
Xylem has also announced that it will unveil a new submersible dewatering pump range at the show; comprising four new pumps ranging from 4 to 18 kW. The new range is ideal for water removal in the toughest applications in mining, tunnelling and other extremely harsh dewatering conditions. Created by the designers of the world’s most successful submersible drainage pump, Xylem’s new product is a much awaited addition to the company’s product portfolio and is certain to make a big impression on the market when it is revealed in Munich.
The Flygt 2600 drainage pumps feature Xylem’s patented DuraSpin hydraulic system, Hard-Iron impeller, Plug-In Cartridge seal and are three times more wear-resistant than conventional drainage pumps. Fewer components mean less spare parts to store as well as being one of the easiest products to service on the market. New enhancements to Xylem’s Flygt 2600 range include increased durability on the seal system, greater protection against corrosion, a simplified design and capability for dry running.

Consisting of six drainage and three solids-handling sludge pumps, the Flygt 2600 series is suitable for use in worksites of any size, handling flows from low to medium and high to super high. The pump handles flows of up to 100 liters per second and heads to 90 meters and solids of up to 80 mm in diameter. Available with power ratings from 0.85 to 18 kW, 50 Hz the range of drainage pumps is engineered for professional use in tough mining, construction, tunnelling and industrial dewatering applications.
