Infor, a business application software provider in the US, has announced the availability of Infor for Printing and Packaging vertical suite, an integrated ERP system that includes built-in capabilities to manage the printing and packaging lifecycle.
Available as either an on-premise solution or cloud-based deployment, Infor for Printing and Packaging provides faster deployments and fewer modifications.
The application delivers a speedier quoting process, improved workflow and integration, enhanced demand planning and increased productivity.
Infor ERP marketing director Mark Humphlett said the company understands the niche printing and packaging market, and developed the application as a result of in-depth conversations and knowledge sharing with customers.
"In order to remain competitive and simultaneously meet consumer demand, organizations need to streamline operations and increase their ability to access and analyze data," Humphlett said.
The software can scale to meet business expansion needs such as the addition of a warehouse, new plant or new division. It combines the benefits of full visibility, process control and financial management with the needs of creating better printing quotes and estimating resource needs.
