Concurrency, Inc., the 2012 Microsoft Central Region Partner of the Year, announced today that Microsoft has selected the consulting services firm for its Business-Critical SharePoint (BCSP) partner program.
Earlier in 2012, Microsoft awarded Concurrency as worldwide 2012 Content Management Partner of the Year, for innovative client work on the SharePoint platform.
Launched in 2012, the BCSP program recognizes independent firms who help organizations increase productivity by connecting Microsoft SharePoint to line-of-business software systems for human resources, sales, finance, product development, and other business-critical functions.
"Most large companies already use SharePoint for content management and collaboration," said Mark Rentmeester, Business Productivity Practice Manager at Concurrency. "Now they are taking the next step, by using SharePoint to connect the 'information silos' often created by disparate line-of-business systems."
Rentmeester continued, "Until now there hasn't been a good way to bring everything together. SharePoint solves that problem by bridging the gap between line-of-business systems. In our work with clients, we've seen how using SharePoint to manage workflow processes yields significant productivity gains."
Concurrency qualified for the BCSP program based on its experience providing the technology and business expertise to help organizations 'surface' line-of-business data in SharePoint, implement efficient business processes across the organization, and drive cross-team collaboration.
Said Peter Hurth, Concurrency's Enterprise Content Management Team Lead, "Our focus is always on helping clients get the most value from their IT investments. When SharePoint is used to streamline core business processes--and to get more from existing line-of-business systems by connecting them--organizations get more return on investment for the dollars they spend on each system."
As a participant in the BCSP program, Concurrency brings its clients the benefits of specialized Microsoft training and software architectural guidance.
