Mercedes Benz is planning has started taking orders for its flagship B-Class Electric Drive zero emission car which will be delivered to customers by the end of 2014.
The €39,151 car is powered by 132 kW electric motor, which is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and pump 340 Nm of torque.
Users can choose amongst three driving programs which include Economy Plus, Economy and Sport.
Electric Drive is available in equipment lines, Style, Urban and the exclusive Electric Art which has an dynamic and distinctive appearance.
The car features 18-inch multi-spoke light-alloy wheels, louvres on the radiator grille, and 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel.
Mercedese is offering an optional RANGE PLUS for an additional €892.50 which would allows the range of 200 km of the B-Class Electric Drive to be extended by up to 30 km.
It also includes heated windscreen, and dark-tinted glass heat-insulating and includes various insulation measures, and the chargeable capacity of the battery is extended with the RANGE PLUS button.
