In the 2012 financial year, turnover at the surfaces manufacturer Surteco at €407.7m was minimally down on the figure achieved in the previous year. Foreign turnover was up by 1%, while domestic revenues showed decline of roughly 3%, thereby increasing the export rate by two percentage points to 69%. The two strategic business units also showed counter-trends last year. Turnover generated by the SGE Paper business division declined by 2% to €170.1m, while revenues in the SGE Plastics division increased by 1% to €237.6m.
