In a press release, Revolve also added that Alliance Apparel has been selling on the Revolve platform since the launch of its first label, Lovers + Friends in 2011.

According to Revolve, it will infuse capital into the Alliance business, which will accelerate its growth and expansion as a wholesale brand with multiple labels and more coming soon.

“At Revolve, we are dedicated to curating a collection of emerging brands and designers that reflect our youthful and fashionable aesthetic,” said Michael Mente, co-founder, Revolve.

“We have worked closely with Alliance Apparel for a number of years, and could not be more excited to bring them into the Revolve family to help fuel the growth of Alliance Apparel,”, he added.

Founded in 2003, Revolve has created a shopping experience that has held the attention of its traditionally fickle millennial customer by selling the hottest products from emerging designers.

In 2012, the online fashion retailer partnered with LA stylist, Elyse Walker to bring the most distinguished names in luxury fashion online with Forward by Elyse Walker.

With this acquisition, Revolve informed that it is rounding out its portfolio by owning the contemporary and premium fashion space, as well as having a strong foothold in the luxury sector.

“When we first launched Lovers + Friends four years ago, we wanted to sell on Revolve because they are best in class when it comes to launching emerging designers,” said Mitch Moseley, CEO at Alliance Apparel.

“We have big plans and aspirations for what Alliance Apparel will create in the coming years, and are delighted to be joining Revolve to see this vision through to the next level,” he too added by saying.

The Alliance Apparel brands, including Lovers + Friends, Tularosa and NBD are currently sold at more than 400 retailers worldwide.

In 2015, Alliance Apparel expects to post gross sales of $18 million, representing a 140 per cent year-over-year growth.

The company will be launching new lines under Alliance Apparel later this year, and will continue to be led by founders Mitch Moseley and Raissa Gerona from their existing office space in Los Angeles.

Revolve markets more than 500 of the world's most coveted established and emerging brands in women's and men's designer apparel, shoes and accessories.
