Richard Wolf Medical Instruments has announced the availability of the smallest bipolar resectoscope in the gynecology market.
The Princess (21 Fr expandable to 24.5 Fr) resectoscope, which features a petite, atraumatic profile requiring less dilation and resistance during insertion, is designed for use in fertility and sterility patients as well as cases of cervical stenosis.
In addition, the new rotatable feature of the Princess allows physicians to freely move the working end without changing the position of the shaft inside the patient, while the smaller loop removes tissue more precisely and inflicts less thermal damage.
Richard Wolf Medical Instruments marketing director corporate Monica Sanders said the smallest bipolar resectoscope expands the clinician's options and enhances the patient's comfort.
"It provides flexibility and enhanced capabilities for physicians while improving patient care and recovery times," Sanders added.
