The former Gmach subsidiary Holzenergie P sing took over the insolvent parent company Holzwerke Gmach on 5 December 2012 as part of the sale of the whole company. Besides the planing and gluelam board plant, the purchase also covers the machinery for producing briquettes as well as the sawmill that has been idled since January 2012.
