This September employees from Architainment Lighting will embark on a 20-mile night walk across London to raise money for cancer support charity,Maggie's Centre.
The team called'Team Easily LED',which includes employees from EcoSense Lighting,will join 2500 others on the night.
Lighting will be key to the event with participants writing messages for loved ones on paper bags,all of which will be illuminated for other walkers to read while on route.
The team previously raised 3,360 euros at last year's event,and a further 4,288 euros at a 60km trek across the South Downs.
Architainment Lighting directors Nic Tolkien and Paul Rees will be joined by Architainment employees Jonathan Adkins,Lee Shields,Maggie Norcross,Holly Winman,Siobhan Wall,Ian Davies on the night as well as Steph Tolkien and Cathy Adkins.Neil Gamble of EcoSense Lighting will also join the team once again.
Maggie's Centre offers its services free of charge making the money raised from the annual hike crucial to the charity's work.
Commenting on the walk,Architainment Lighting sales director,Paul Rees,said:"The night hike has become something the team look forward to every year now for several reasons:it is a great opportunity to raise money for a really worthwhile cause,spend time together as a team and see some of the city's landmark's that we have worked on,light up the London skyline."
