Britta and Kent Lindvall chose to build their Treehotel concept in one of the most beautiful parts of Northern Sweden, where natural forests, simplicity and unspoiled beauty could encase the tree house's surroundings. What may be a surprise to the unexpected woodland hiker, but a choice to the Treehotel's guest, are the unique room concepts like the UFO,the Mirrorcube and the Bird's Nest.

There are a total of 24 tree rooms in the Treehotel's overall plans, and a current offering of 5 specially designed rooms by some of Scandinavia's leading architects. The tree room's furniture, lighting and fabrics are custom designed and follow the tree room's theme. The Treehotel's environmental aim is to have a minimal impact on the surrounding area, with the use of combustion toilets and water-efficient sinks they are able to accomplish this.
What to expect?
Upon checking in at Britta's Pensionat you will be lead on a five-minute walk through the Treehotel's tall pine forests.Where you will find a ramp,a bridge or electric stairs to the tree room of your choice, that is pleasantly suspended 15 feet(give or take a few feet)above the ground.Strolls through nature, views of the Lule River,an authentic 1930-1950's restaurant,a bar,a spa treehouse for 12,a relaxation area and even TV and internet are just a few of the luxuries you will experience. The Treehotel is open to guests from all around and all year round.Enjoy!
