Russia’s exports of stainless steel products totaled 57,322 tons in the first quarter of this year, rising by 12.3% year on year, according to data released by the Russia-based SpetsStal Association.
In the first quarter of this year, the country’s imports of steel long products rose by 8.2%; those of steel flats increased by 17.1%; those of ERW pipes were up by 17.4%. However, the country’s imports of seamless steel pipes and wires dropped by 29.4% and 33.8% respectively in the first quarter of this year.
