China Steel Corp. (CSC), one of the blast furnace mills in Taiwan that said after the company to release its new price on October 18th, it has received higher order volumes for steel flat products in the Taiwanese domestic market than their expected. In the third quarter, CSC's total received order volumes were at 2.85 million tons, 100% met its target. Due to the current slow market demand, CSC said that its received order volumes should reach 2.8 million tons, which will remain at the same level of the third quarter or might only drop slightly.
