China's PPI fell 1.6% year on year but rose 0.1% month on month in Aug., said the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in a report today.
The purchase price index for industrial products narrowed 1.6% year on year but widened 0.1% month on month in Aug. On average, the PPI sank 2.2% year on year and the purchase price index for industrial products dwindled 2.3% in the first eight months of this year.
