The Carbon Steel Plate Price Keeps Stable on The Italian Market

In the recent half a month, the carbon steel plate price kept stable on the Italian market.

Since the end of July, the transaction volume increased thanks to the rebounding demand for replenishing the stock and some end users.

Although the stock of local service centers stayed at a low level, most market participants have already begun to purchase the material for September and October.

In addition, the local mills are not willing to cut the price. Most producers offer US$570/ton, US$663/ton and US$637/ton ex. mill for hot rolled coils (HRC), cold rolled coils (CRC) and hot-dipped galvanized steel (HDG) currently.

However, it still needs time to see how long the rebounding situation would last.

Meanwhile, after several sluggish months, most people are holding an optimistic towards the market trend.
