According to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers'Association(Jernkontoret),in November this year Swedish crude steel production amounted to 344,300 tonnes,decreasing slightly by 0.3%YoY and indicating a MoM decrease of 3.75%.
The country's crude steel output has been declining on year-on-year basis since June 2011.
In the first 11 months of 2012,Swedish crude steel production totaled 4 million tonnes,with a decrease of 10.7%compared to the same period of 2011.
Meanwhile,in the first nine months of this year Sweden's exports of finished steel,including blooms and billets,amounted to 2.7 million tonnes,down nine percent compared to the same period of 2011.Swedish finished steel imports in the first nine months totaled 2.67 million tonnes,down by 8%as compared to the same period of 2011.
