Russian Novolipetsk Steel Says That Its Long Steel Division Rise by 3%

Russian Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) said that its long steel division shipped around 1.7 million tons of steel products in 2012, rising by 3% from a year ago.

Among them, 1.3 million tons were rebar, rising by 10%; 107,000 tons were wire rods, falling by 20% and 285,000 tons were hardware, increasing by 19%, all compared to the figures in a year ago.

Meanwhile, NLMK planned to ship around 100,000 tons of rebar in this February, falling by 13% from a month ago.
