AN outage at the Australian Stock Exchange that prevented the release of company announcements on the ASX website has been resolved.
Company announcements are now going live again on the ASX website, along with the backlog of this morning's releases, after the issue was resolved at 12.08pm.
The ASX said technicians had been working this morning to restore the service to the ASX market announcements platform after they identified a problem with an internal database at 8.20am.
The platform is the main venue for companies to release information to investors and intermediaries, including results and corporate actions, which are then distributed to third-party information resellers.
The ASX was able to receive announcements from companies but was not able to display them in the first two hours of trading.
