Reportedly, the Taiwanese steel pipe makers are going to release price policy for May. Industry sources said that the Taiwanese steel pipe makers might cut prices by NT$700~NT$800/ton for May in order to reflect lower raw material prices. It’s predicted that Chung Hung Steel, the major upstream raw material supplier to the steel pipe makers in Taiwan would cut its prices for May. Accordingly, the steel pipe makers might follow Chung Hung Steel to cut prices for May.
