It’s reported that Korea’s H beam imports from China surged substantially.
According to statistics, Korea imported 83,696 tons of H beams in January, jumping by 94.8% from a month ago.
Among them, 77,835 tons were from China, soaring by 99.2%; 5,331 tons were from Japan, rising by 52.2%, both compared to those in a month ago.
It’s analyzed that the surged H beam imports from China were boosted by delayed shipments in December.
