South Africa-based Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT), one of the world's largest coal handling ports, has announced that it exported 4.21 million mt of coal in January, falling by 38.4 percent compared to December 2012 and down 5.6 percent year on year.
Stocks at the terminal stood at 4.11 million mt at the end of January.
