According to data released by China Customs, the country’s exports of seamless steel pipes totaled 1.29 million tons in the first quarter of this year, rising by 11% year on year. Meanwhile, China’s exports of seamless steel pipes totaled 415,304 tons in March, decreasing by 4% month on month and falling by 5% year on year.
The dip was caused by China’s Spring Festival stating in Mid-February. In March, the exports of seamless OCTG totaled 198,402 tons, increasing by 5% from a month ago.
