The Majority of Indian Steelmakers Keep Their HRC Prices Remain Unchanged for March

It is reported that the majority of Indian steelmakers announced to keep their hot rolled coil prices remain unchanged for March this year.

India’s steelmakers considered the domestic market demand remained weak and it expected to slow recovery in the first half year.

However, the price issue will not able to help the market improvement but it needs to united most of Indian steel producers to having a right direction to prevent import materials against local business.

JSW Steel said the mill has not announced any increase in its base prices but the state-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd (Sail) has announced to lift INR500/ton for March according to source said.
