Tokyo Steel Leaves Its Domestic List Prices Unchanged for April Contracts

It’s reported that Japan’s Tokyo Steel announced to leave its domestic list prices unchanged for April contracts.

After the announcement, the company’s list prices for SPHC hot rolled coils with thickness of 1.7mm-22mmn are at 62,000 yuan/ton and those for SS400 senior-size H beam are at 74,000yuan/ton.

Kiyoshi Imamura, the marketing director of Tokyo Steel said that the steel demand for the domestic construction sectors is recovering. Furthermore, the clear sign is expected to appear in the second half of this year when the public projects and private capital investments are carried out.
