China-based GCL-Poly Energy Holdings aims to increase its annual production capacity for solar-grade crystalline silicon wafers to 11.5GWp, according to China-based media reports.
GCL-Poly produced about 9.0GWp of solar wafers in 2013, accounting for 66% of China's total output, the reports indicated, adding GCL-Poly is developing solar wafers with energy conversion rates of over 18%.
