According to data released by Japan's Ministry of Finance, Japan exported around 47,000 tons of H beams in March, soaring by 69.1% from a month ago and increasing by 32.8% year on year.
In the first three months of this year, the country's H beam exports totaled 123,000 tons, surging by 30.1% year on year. Meanwhile, the export prices of H beams averaged at 69,000/ton FOB, rising by 3,000/ton from a month ago and increasing by 7,000/ton year on year. In March, the country's H beam exports to Korea totaled 9,000 tons; those to China were at 4,500 tons and those to Taiwan were at 7,900 tons.
