News.Az cited Mr Peter Sierto Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Economic Relations as saying that Azerbaijan is a guarantor of energy security of European Union.
He said that Hungary is interested in purchase of Azerbaijani gas. The minister also voiced regret over the fact that the AGRI project does not proceed as quickly. We would like its implementation to be accelerated.
AGRI project was launched on September 14th 2010 when SOCAR, Romgaz and GOGC signed MoU on establishing a joint company by the three countries and implementation of the AGRI project.
