According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in the first 11 months of the current year, Ukraine registered an 11.5% decrease in its finished steel product output to 24,746 million tonnes 6.6% decrease in its crude steel output to 29.828 million tonnes and a 1.3% decline in its pig iron production to 26.171 million tonnes all YoY.
The country's production of metallurgical coke in the given period went down by 3.1% YoY to 17.401 million tonnes. In the January to November period this year, Ukraine produced 60.743 million tonnes of iron ore concentrate and 20.337 million tonnes of iron ore pellets up 1.15% and 0.6% respectively compared to the same period last year.
In November alone, Ukraine produced 2.687 million tonnes of crude steel up 1.3%, 2.185 million of finished steel products up 4% and 1.494 million tonnes of metallurgical coke down 0.4% all on MoM basis.
