exports of steel pipes and tubes totaled 20,655 tons in January, surging by 30% from a month ago.
Among them, 2,214 tons were welded steel pipes and tubes, falling from 2,726 tons in a month ago; 18,441 tons were seamless steel pipes and tubes, rising from 13,168 tons in last December.
In January, South American countries were the largest importer of the Brazilian steel pipes and tubes with 6,663 tons.
