Japanese Steelmakers Planned to Raise The Prices of Hot Rolled Coils (HRC)

It’s reported that the Japanese steelmakers planned to raise the prices of hot rolled coils (HRC) to the buyers in Latin America and the Middle East for April.

It’s learned that the HRC export price to Latin America reaches US$680~US$690/ton CFR and that to the Middle East is at US$630~US$640/ton CFR.

At the same time, the Russian steel mills offered the HRC quoted at US$630~US$640/ton CFR to Latin America and the Middle East.
