In April this year, Swedish crude steel production amounted to 421,900 metric tons, increasing by 5.5 percent year on year and down 2.1 percent as compared to March, according to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret).
Meanwhile, in the first four months of the current year, Swedish crude steel production totaled 1.61 million mt, with an increase of 7.1 percent year on year.
