NSSMC Planned to Extend Its Current Production Capacity

It is reported that Japanese Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal (NSSMC) planned to extend its current production capacity in order to meet the strong demand in Domestic market.

The company has indicated the country’s steel annual consumption is about 60 million with three years plan till 2016 and most likely through till 2020.

Meanwhile, the company also plans to improve the production utility ratios for rolling and coating facilities, to save the costs from higher raw material costs and expand coating facilities offshore.

In the meantime, the company’s mission is expecting to be more competitive strength against others.
