Turkey's imports of stainless coils totaled 29,072 tons in January, falling by 8.5% year on year, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the country's import values generated by stainless steel coils totaled US$73.3 million in January, decreasing by 15.2% year on year. In February, Taiwan was the largest exporter of stainless steel coils to Turkey with 7,382 tons; Germany was the second largest one with 3,122 tons and Finland was the third largest one with 2,655 tons. In 2012, Turkey's imports of stainless steel coils amounted to 355,540 tons, up by 0.8% in comparison of that in the same period of a year ago.
