World's First Glass Futures Is Listing on Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange on Monday

(China Glass Network) The world's first glass futures is listing on Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange on Monday. Unfortunately, the glass futures experienced setbacks on the first day. The current contract all fell between 4% - 6%, and the main contract 1305 even declined 7.6 percent

According to the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, the contract listed benchmark price of glass futures is 1420 yuan per ton.

The New Era Futures pointed out that, the pattern of China glass demand and supply is loose. The down-stream consumption mainly focuses on building industry. After the November, the glass demand is apparently reduced. And in order to reduce the stock, remain good sale-output ratio, and reserve enough capital, the glass manufacturers will drop the glass price in succession. The cash price market is not optimistic.
