According to data released by China’s Customs, China exported 294,388 tons of welded steel pipes in November, rising by 28% from a month ago.
Among them, the exports of line pipes totaled 139,555 tons, jumping by 55.2% from 89,900 tons in October.
In November, Venezuela was the largest importer of the Chinese welded steel pipes with 37,908 tons, surging by 113.7%; Canada was the second largest one with 15,201 tons, soaring by 91.2%, both compared to those in a month earlier.
In the first 11 months of 2012, China’s exports of welded steel pipes amounted to 3.41 million tons, increasing by 5.9% year on year.
