In December, Turkey’s imports & exports value was USD 29.87 billion, down 14.6% by year. Exports value was USD 11.83 billion, down 10.8% and imports value was USD 18.04 billion, down 16.9%. The trade deficit was USD 6.21 million, down 26.6%.
From January to December, Imports & exports value of 2015 between Turkey and China was USD 27.24 billion, down 1.8%. Turkey’s exports value was USD 2.41 billion, down 15.6%. It accounted for 1.7% of Turkey’s total exports, down 0.1%. Turkey’s imports from China reached USD 24.82 billion, down 0.2%. It accounted for 12.0% of total imports, up 1.7%.
From January to December, the trade deficit between Turkey and China was USD 22.41 billion, up 1.8%.
Up to December, China has become the eighteenth largest market for Turkey’s exports and the largest import source for Turkey.
