The demand for foreign design goods is dramatically increasing in China. At the same time, the increasing demand has sapwnd overseas shopping representatives.
China is the biggest luxury goods consuming country, sharing 29% of global market. In the recent years, these purchases are increasingly being made abroad, mostly by tourists, and young Chinese studying in places like New York, London, Paris and Tokyo.
It's a booming business that was worth 74.4 billion yuan ($12 billion) in 2013, according to the China E-commerce Research Center.
Chinese consumers can get luxury goods for less than they would at home by circumventing China's steep taxes on luxury goods.
With the daigou business booming, daigou has become some kind of "Smuggling". After the launch of iPhone 6, many organized smugglers will bring in 100 or more iPhones were found. However, immediate plans haven't been issued to give up their lucrative sidelines despite the new regulation.
