Taiwan's China Steel Corp. (CSC) announced to cut its steel plates prices by NT$500/ton for next January and February, helping the Taiwanese structure mills to reduce input costs in the first quarter of next year.
Taiwan's major structure mills including China Steel Structure Corp., Chun Yuan and Century Iron and Steel said that their production lines have been fully booked until the second quarter of next year.
Furthermore, it's expected that the Taiwanese structure mills have may have good sales next year, boosted by several large construction projects.
