Franz Gussek Will Produce 520 Houses and Generate Turnover of Between EURO82m and EURO83m

Franz Gussek, the manufacturer of Gussek Haus prefabricated housing, will probably produce 520 houses and generate turnover of between €82m and €83m in 2012. This can already be deduced from the current order book. 255 prefabricated houses will already have been erected by the end of June. The production figure achieved in 2011 and expected again this year reflects the recovery in the German residential-building sector since its collapse in 2007, when Gussek produced only 310 houses. Production numbers had been 347 in 2008, only 316 in 2009 and then higher again in 2010, at 413. The group of companies has built a total of roughly 14,000 houses to date. According to CEO Dr. Frank Gussek, the bottleneck factor hindering further growth is not demand, but qualified personnel. This was illustrated in 2011, when there were problems in finding sufficient trained craftsmen.
