According to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat)announced that Russia imports stainless steel reached 21,764 tons in April, up by 5.9% month on month. Meanwhile, Russian imports of stainless wire increase by 33.4% month on month in April; the stainless flat products up by 4.6% month on month; that of stainless ERW welded pipes up by 14.1% month on month in April; the stainless steel billet jump by 96.9% month on month in April. In addition, Russia imports of stainless seamless pipes down by 4.6% month on month in April and the stainless long products down slightly by 0.5% month on month April.
