Japan's Exports of Section Steel Products Increase by 17.1% From a Month Ago

According to data, Japan's exports of section steel products totaled 67,844 tons in May, increasing by 17.1% from a month ago. The country's export prices of section steel products averaged at US$727.5/ton FOB in May, down by 3.1% month on month. Among them, 32,571 tons were exported to Korea, increasing by 7.4% month on month, with average prices of US$680.4/ton FOB, down by 2.5% from a month ago. Meanwhile, the exports of section steel products made to China totaled 8,439 tons, decreasing by 28.6% month on month, with average export prices of US$788.7/ton, down by 3.2% from April.
